General Questions

How can I get a login password & ID so I can add events directly on a regular basis?
Email the OMA office at oma@omediate.org to request a password and ID if you plan to enter events on a regular basis. OMA has a limited number of login passwords and IDs available. If you will not be adding events on a regular basis, please use the Suggest an Event link to add your events.
 

Can non-OMA members receive a login password & ID?
Yes, first priority for login passwords and IDs will be given to OMA members. However, we will also provide login passwords and IDS to organizations submitting events on a regular basis once we have filled requests from OMA members.

How can I suggest an event for the calendar if I don't have a password and ID?
Click on the Suggest an Event link on the calendar page.  Fill out the form to submit for consideration. If OMA has questions or concerns about your submission we will contact you. OMA reserves the right to decide if a suggested event is not directly related to mediation and choose not include it on the calendar.

What types of events may be included in this calendar?
All events submitted to this calendar should be directly related to mediation. Events related to training & education in conflict reoslution and alternative dispute resolution are also appropriate. OMA reserves the right to decide which events may be posted on this calendar and reserves the right to delete entries that are not directly related to mediation or that contain inappropriate material or language.

Is there a limit to the number of events I can add or suggest?
No, there is usually no limit on the number of events you can add or suggest.
 

If I suggest an event, how will I know if it's been accepted?
The OMA office will contact you if we have questions about your submission or the event is not accepted for the calendar.

Do I need to delete events after an event has been held?
You can log in to the calendar and manually delete the event if you choose to do so, otherwise it will remain listed.
 

What should I do if my event does not fit into one of the categories?
Include it in the "Related Community Events" category. If you would like to suggest another category to be included in the calendar on a regular basis, please send an email to oma@omediate.org.
